Erica visits us from Brazil!!!!

I had such a fun week! Erica is a member from one of the wards that I served in on my mission! Her dream was always to come to Salt Lake City and the United States. It came true for her and I had her stay a couple days in my house and show her around!! It was so fun!


Tuesday morning We went and ate breakfast (Waffles and Eggs) with my mission companion Sis. Melanie Jenkins Taylor that served with me in Erica's ward.

After we drove down to Provo and saw BYU Campus!!

We found this FREE dinosaur museum that is across from the Lavell Edwards Stadium so we had fun looking around and taking pictures!!

I took her to the BYU bookstore and the Distribution Center. She got lots of fun things to take home! We were starving by 3:00 so we ran over to the Cougar Eat and had a subway sandwich!

We snuck into the Football Stadium and got to take pictures on the field. Erica was so excited and was so happy that she even cried because she couldn't believe she got to go onto the BYU Football Field!! Nobody was stopping us so we had fun!! I had to take a picture for my hubby of the RC Willey Sign!

I showed her around provo and we went and saw the MTC and the Provo Temple.

My thanksgiving/Christmas present!

I'm so excited as I'm waiting for the Concert to start!! Bry was awesome enough to come with me and join in on the fun!! He thanked me for getting us amazing seats!! Yes, I love David Archuleta! Probably because he really is an amazing singer and because he is a fellow MHS SPARTAN and that he was on my favorite show ever, American Idol. We got to sit on 4th row dead center!! Best tickets I have ever bought! I LOVE EBAY!! The show was amazing. He sang a bunch of his songs like crush, zero gravity, fields of gold, I'm still not over you, and some others than he came back out a little while later and sang a bunch of amazing christmas songs!!!

AND THEY ARE OFF.....May is ready for the Princess on Ice show with her cousins, aunt and dad!! Bry held Megan and Mayley on his lap most of the show!

What a fun picture! In my mind this is what everyone is saying...Mayley "hurry dad I can't smile anymore and I gotta go potty," Anna, "I'm in heaven and I loved watching snow white!", Abbie, "I love smiling when half of my teeth are missing! I love being a princess!", Megan "MOM I want some of that Cotton Candy over there!" Nancy, "We are having so much fun!! Thank goodness my brother could come with us so they could sneak the girls into the mens potty since the line to go in the girls bathroom was 100 miles long!!"

I wonder if this thing was once a pumpkin!??! just kidding!!

I was so sick and had to miss out so Bry ended up going with Nancy and the girls!! It looked like so much fun! Mayley is still talking about it! Hey I got a ton of christmas presents wrapped while the kids were off having fun!!

Food to eat, Food to make!

Bryan and I got to have a date and go to the BYU vs. TCU game (too bad they got whooped) but we got really fun seats. We got to eat some blue kettle corn (hence our blue tounges) and lots of just yummy food. Donuts (my absolute fav), drinks, and bratwurst dogs. The food made it worth the fun!! I love being entertained with food.

Super Yummolicious chicken tortilla soup I was craving really bad one night for dinner with fresh avacados. I got the recipe off this blog called "Best Bites" that my mother in law told me about. They have some way yummy recipes.

Fall is such a fun time because there are so many

fun things to make. I made homemade donuts with this amazing chocolate icing that made it so much richer and creamier! They aren't perfect that's for sure but they were sure good :)

Everyone gobbled them up at my halloween piano recital!

Oh what a wonderful week!

1st week in November!

Mayley had her 1st full dentist visit and cleaning and xrays! She got a piglet toothbrush and she got to wear sunglasses so the bright light wouldn't hurt her eyes. Funniest sight ever! She loved it because Natalie the hygentist was so darn cute with her. Wahoo that mayley loves the dentist just like her mommy!













Thursday night we went over and watched our 2 favorite shows (Modern Family and the Office) on TV with our favorite friends from our ward (Noriko and John). We laugh our heads off and we always talk FOREVER because they are just awesome friends. John and Bry are so much alike its hilarious! I'm grateful for wonderful friends that are so easy to connect with!


Saturday we had a full house....Pittmans, Bry's parents and then my neighbor leauna all were over here helping work on finishing the basement. Bry watched the football game and then I had an amazing experience. My friend came over that lives down the street to have me help her with a sewing project. She stayed for about 2 hours and I ended up teaching her all about the church. How grateful I am for my mission and the opportunity I had to teach "O LIVRO DE MORMON" various times daily and weekly. I bore my testimony of how much I knew Heavenly Father appreared with his son Jesus christ to Joseph Smith and how Joseph Smith restored the gospel! It was so awesome. Then I invited her to church and she totally said yes! She came over with her 2 boys ready this morning at 10:30 it was awesome. I don't know what an affect I had on her but it made me want to be a full time missionary again because it sure felt good to share the gospel with someone that had no idea what it was about!!

We got to go eat at Carls Jr! Let me tell ya they have pretty yummy taco salads for fast food! It was fun because we saw a cute family from our ward there and got to chat with them! I love being super social! what a fun and simple weekend!

camera battery charger is lost again!

So we have some kind of bad luck when it comes to cameras. My whole life that is how its been! I had 2 cameras on my mission and since we have been married 4 years I think have gone through 1 every single year! We've lost our camera charger twice the past couple of weeks and right now is one of those times. darn it! BUT I can put these pics that my neighbor took of us on halloween!! I was excited to pull off our fun halloween costumes. I hope its obvious to figure out what our costumes were!!

Tuesday my car keys were in bryan's coat pocket that he took with him to work so I didn't have a car that day! I had ask my nice friends to help me get around since its my buisest day of the week! They are awesome! We had a fun halloween party at the family center here in tooele. SUPER FUN!

Wednesday I made homemade donuts for my Halloween piano recital. My recital was a wonderful success! I was happily suprised how well it went! Bry had Young mens at the house and made rootbeer floats for everyone.
