2011 Highlights

I feel so blessed to have had an amazing year in 2011.

I'm writing this down more to put in a book of memories and to think of how many blessings we have in our lives. We have a wonderful life!

Last year at this same time Bry, Hogan, and I were in Maui. We went to Payson Lakes with the call family, jet skiing at Jordanelle, and went camping with our own little family out in Grantsville. That was awesome times!

May and Hunter learned how to ride 2 wheeler bikes! That was a fun moment this summer!

Hogan starts Crawling and Walking (13 1/2 months)

Hunter Started Preschool and May started Kindergarten

Bry was released from being YM Pres for 3 1/2 years. He was called as Elders Quorum teacher and bear leader for Curtis. He took the Young Men to Zions and Hike Angels Landing

Brianne was Ward Choirster and helped bry with Cub scouts for a minute

Went to the BYU/Utah game (as a date) bry got whacked with pom poms from the guys sitting in front of us!, Bees games, Triple A Home Run Derby, and some Jazz Games. Disney on ice, circus, Rascal Flatts Concert, Zoo, Aquarium, Cherry Hill, Sledding at Gorgoza park, Lagoon and Demolition Derby.

Aunt Hayley Got married and it was a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!

May graduated from preschool. She had fun fieldtrips to dominos to make pizza and to the firestation.
Brianne had a piano recital
Bry got hit in the eye by hunter throwing a rock at him and had to get stitches
We got a steal of a deal of a bounce house slide and had a blast in the backyard playing and having friends over during the summer time!
Doll cousins came out from California and we went to Liberty Park and played and rode rides with Grandma Redding.
May and Bubs took gymnastics and started playing soccer
We went and saw the "UP" house
We went fishing with Uncle Parker
Had a ward campout and sang songs around the campfire while I awesome friends played their guitars! I remember the bathrooms reeked horribly!

May got to be Student of the Month in her kindergarten Class! So proud of her...and she got back her 1st report card! She is an A student! what a proud moment of us as parents :)

Hogi went to the Dr. Yesterday. He got 4 shots. He even figured out how to pull them off by himself last night at bathtime! He only weighs 20 lbs.! We love this little man!We got a new pediatrician! She is AMAZING! Check her out! I would recommend her to EVERYONE that needs a better one or a new one!

A couple weekends ago we went to the car expo show and they had fun jeeps for the kids to ride. I think the kids went like 4 or 5 times. This is one of their all time favorite things to do! The funniest part was watching and listening to some boy standing next to us that were jr. high aged. They kept laughing at Hunter and saying "Look at that Cool kid! He's so awesome he keeps running into all the other kids with his jeep!" We got a kick out of that. They had super fun jumping in all the cars too! We got to go to in and out burger afterwards!

Some fun stuff we did back in November when Hogan was getting bigger and turning one!! and THANKSGIVING TIME!

Hogan LOVES to play on the piano! Hes such a happy little guy!!

Thanksgiving Day we went ice blocking with the Calls. We went to Murray Park hill. It was a blast. We felt bad when our cousin Megan had to go to the urgent care and broke her little leg.
May got the hang of it and had tons of fun too!
Hunter cruised down the hill like it was nothing! He was so hilarious to watch!
One of the last times Bry got to drive home from Tooele he took his camera and did some amazing pics of the sunset over the Great Salt Lake! I love that my hubby has this great talent for taking beautiful pics of nature!
Later that night of Thanksgiving the older girls had a "Beauty Pagent" Bry was the MC! It was so funny! THey all did a talent and did interviews. and dressed up in Grandmas fun dress up clothes. May was Miss. Tooele, Abbie was Miss Spanish Fork, and Anna was Miss Utah County.
Tradition in our family is that the baby sits by the Thanksgiving Pie and gets a pic on the table with it. We've done this ever since my sister was a baby.
Thanksgiving was amazing and I'm grateful I get to be around my family. I'm grateful for my health and just the simple things in life. I love my fam a ton! Every single one of them! My grandparents, brys grandparents (even the ones I've never met that have passed on) my parents, brys parents, all of my siblings, brys siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins! Thanks for being huge examples to me and living the gospel! The church and my Savior means everything to me :)

So my blogging skills have been horrible but I have taken lots of pictures and have lots to update. I love reading everyone's blogs. all of you that blog are big examples to me of how I need to be and keeping up with my family! So lots has happened the past couple of months....First of all Hogan turned one. We had a big birthday bash for him with both families. We got a cake for him and he had fun smashing it in his face!

I got to go with Hunter to his preschool fieldtrip to the fire station in Tooele. The fireman was pretending to rescue the kids in this picture. I love being part of my kids' lives!
Bry and his dad helped us finish the bathroom downstairs in the tooele house. It turned out SUPER nice. I was so proud of my amazing husband and how hard he works to make things look nice. We are super grateful for everyone that helped us...bro broderick for his plumbing skills, eric with the electrical stuff and grandpa call!!

Last but not least....we of course moved back to murray and sold our house in tooele. We have tons of pics of our moving day which we haven't loaded onto the computer yet. I love love love that house and will miss it tons. I know the Lord is watching out for us and is aware of our situation right now. I will post more later. I'm grateful to be closer to family, shopping, and good schools for my kids too. they are good people everywhere you go!

My awesome hubby got to coach hunter's last game. He was high fiving the boys when they did a good job. Hunter's team was the Dragonflies. Those little boys were so funny and thanks to bry they learned a lot about keeping the ball in the middle of the field and trying to get it to the right goal!! Bry was super cute with those boys!

This little man is sooo independent. Even though he isn't walking yet he loves to EAT EVERYTHING. He has to do it by himself! He shakes his head no at us if we try to feed him! The other night we were playing at the calls house and grandma brought back a plate of brownies and cookies from a wedding. He went straight for the plate and grabbed a big brownie and was going to town! The funniest part was that he stuck the heel of his foot in a jam cookie! I thought I was funny when I said he got "Toe JAM" literally!! The kids laughed hysterically at little hogi! We made brownies the other night because I was craving something SWEET so badly! these were some darn cute pics bry took of Hogan licking the spatula!

May is learning so much right now in gymnastics! She is awesome and is loving it! She is in Level 2 and is doing everything. She is working on her backwards rolls here!She is doing her forward rolls here!

Bry turned 30 and we celebrated with his parents the night before! He got a bag of carrots (so that he wouldn't start loosing his eye sight), money, some mexican cookies, and a funny face from May!

Monday morning Hogan woke me up at 6:55! He was ready to help me make Breakfast (at the table) for Bry! The kids had fun helping me get ready to give bry his breakfast. Hunter probably had more fun playing with the little green light he is holding! We made him french toast, a bowl of fruit, and sausage!

That night we had a yummy gourmet lemon cake (thanks to some nice people that Bry works with!) With bry's favorite ice cream!I LOVE THIS PIC OF ALL OF THEIR FACES!!

Midway Getaway!!

So what do you do when you have a birthday to celebrate?!?! Go to a bed and breakfast in Midway!! Bry turned 30 a couple weeks ago! This was such a fun getaway!! I wish it was longer but it was SOOOO Super nice to have alone time with Bryan!

This is kind of a cool house because it used to belong to Bry's Mom's Cousin, Max Gertsch, but then an older couple came in and bought the little house and turned it into this amazing bed and breakfast place. It's called INVITED INN.
They had a sauna, steam room, and a jetted tub in the bathroom! Super fun!!

Susi, the cute little owner, gave us a tour of the house. We are sitting in the sun room and they have a cute little table where she served us appetizers. Homemade Guacamole, nachos, quesadillas with 2 kinds of yummy salsa, Italian sodas, and, yummy cream puffs with chocolate!We got there early so we went for a drive up the snake creek canyon!! Holy beautiful right now!! This was my favorite tree that I found up there!

We went out to eat at this yummy restaurant called Tarahumara. They had the best salsa bar we have ever tasted. I was soooo stuffed from eating so many chips and trying all their different kinds of salsas!!!

The next morning we went for a drive around where Bry's mom grew up! I made bry go into Uncle Lyle's Barn! I told him to take a bunch of pictures of me by the barn because he is a good photographer!! This is the cute house that Bry's Grandpa Gertsch made and the house that Lynda grew up in!!
We drove out to the provo canyon and decided to hike up Bridal Veil Falls! We both had never made a hike up there. We had no idea where we going when we got there and we guessed of where the trail was. I had told bry that I had seen people hike right up close to the falls! So we randomly found a trail and followed it and this is where we ended up......

Miss May is in Kindergarten

Everyone always says your kids grow up fast. I never believed them until this day hit. I remember May being a baby and I would take her for walks when she was a baby and would go to the parks while I would see all the other moms coming and going from taking their kids to school. I couldn't wait for the day to see my kids be in school and be one of those moms. That time arrived and I cried my eyes out. May looked beautiful and Mrs. Adams is such a good teacher to her students!!

Her best friend Hailey is in her class. They have been doing fabulous together and they love playing at recess together too! They both have the same Barbie backpack and wear Hello Kitty shoes!!

I had to give her one more hug before I left her. With Tears in my eyes I told her she was going to have so much fun!! We have had our ups and downs with kindergarten but she has LOVED it so far. We had her first parent Teacher conference abt 2 weeks ago and she is doing amazing! Mrs. Adams loves miss mayley!

Ok so he REALLY is going for a ride of his life because he is starting school!! What??! Our kids are getting old tooooo fast! I would have to say thats a good start in life to have an amazing preschool to go to!! He was cheesin it up and taking funny faced pictures before we went to his first day of school!

Miss Pateresa is such a fun teacher. She loves the kids. They have snack every day and she is helping Hunter improve on his name writing skills. She is even good at disciplining him when he needs it! She is the most positive, fun, outgoing lady I know! Emily is Hunter's little friend that is our neighbor that goes to school with him too. He is doing fabulous and loved making a platypus, and learning about taking care of his body the month of September. He has learned how to say "Criss Cross Applesauce give yourself a hug and talk no more!" And "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit"
May loves to talk to him about preschool!! Her face just lights up! I'm so glad he is having fun.

Zoorassic Fantastic!!!

My awesome friends and I took all of our kids to the zoo right before school started. This was our favorite dinosaur that squirted water out of his mouth!!The fun part was the BIRD SHOW!! We have never seen it before and Noriko raved about how awesome it is!! and it was the kids' favorite part!!
I learned that this owl can sense the smallest sounds! They have an amazing sense of hearing!!

I was sad that we didn't get to see the orangutans or the meerkats!! Our kids love the MEERKATS!! We found them at the San Diego zoo a couple years ago and have loved to go see them ever since!!

Alpine Days Tradition

This year the kids, Bryan, I and Mom ran out the door just in time to do the toddler trot at 8:30 saturday morning. They get a prize and just jog or run or in our case with Mayley WALK around a little block in Alpine!! of course she had to pee the whole time and there was no where to take her so she was a little upset.Bry got Hunter to take off Running!! He was so dang cute!

At the end they got a yummy sucker from Peppermint Place and a 1st place Ribbon. My parents friend was the one in charge and handed out the ribbons and made sure everyone felt like they got 1st place :)

Papa takes them down to the parade every year in the wagon. Our favorite line of the day is when Grandma came past us in the van and hunter yells out "There goes Rhonda!" We were laughing hysterically!
This cute lady is Laura. She is my parents neighbor! We love her lots and she is married to a BYU film teacher who was in one of Bry's favorite movies "Napolean Dynamite!"

Its seriously makes me happy!My visiting teachers brought me over some seeds for lettuce one day. So I thought...I'm just going to go plant them in the garden by my tomato plants. and guess what?!!? One head of lettuce came up!! We had BLT'S for lunch one day! DELICIOUS!

I had no idea what amazing feeling it is to get your own garden vegetables!! It was such a fun day :)

Good friends and Family!!

We have a special connection with friends here in our neighborhood. Heidi and Jared!! Heidi went to High School with me and lived in the same stake as me. We have a had a lot of the same experiences such as being in the High School Musical West Side Story together, being at girls camp together when our friends little sister passed away, and then now we live in the same ward 10 years later!! We have tons of fun together. Jared is friends with Jeff Clark's Wife (brys neighbor growing up). Its seriously a small world! Heidi is expecting a baby girl in November! We are excited for her! It will be her 5th baby! They invited us over for a BBQ with their family a couple weeks ago for their little girl Hailey's birthday party!!We also have another connection. Brad (bry's bro) is best friends with Brandon...(who is Heidi's Bro). They went to High School together and have been to Hawaii to spend time with Brad and Kerri! Brandon married kiersten about a year ago. Heidi's Dad's name is Bryan too!!!
These two are best friends for life!! They talk too much in primary class and we just found out that they are going to be in the same kindergarten class this year!!
So here is ONE MORE obvious connection! Heidi's oldest brother James married my cousin Brandi! So James has been part of the Redding family forever (it seems like) so we get to see them more than anyone and its fun to hang out with someone from my side of the family as well!! We love Brandi and James!
The kids had a blast jumping and playing with the other cousins on the trampoline!

We are glad Hailey and Mayley can be best buddies! We love Hannah and Jenna too (hailey's sisters). We are grateful to have shared experiences with Heidi and Jared. They lost a baby boy who would've been Hogan's age last year. I got to go to the graveside service and comfort Heidi when she needed to just come over and cry! We love them lots! We are so glad we are friends for life! :)

We Found a funny setting on our photoshop that inverts the picture and takes the very focual point and makes it the biggest part of the picture. We have tried about everyone in the family to see what they would look like. We have laughed for hours doing this!! This is one of our favorites of May!

The day before we went to Payson Lakes with the Call Family I had just finished talking to bry about teaching Mayley how to ride her bike. He said, "No, Lets just wait until after Payson Lakes!" LIterally a couple minutes later May comes running inside the house and says "Dad, teach me how to ride my bike!" She was off in NO time. She was really quick to learn and it was a fun and exciting day! She LOVES to ride her bike everywhere now! We are happy for our little Mayley girl :)

Then we have the Bubs who loves to just pull anything behind as a trailer. He insisted that we put the bike trailer onto his bike! He had a blast pulling it around all day!

24th Parade and Fun!

We always have a children's parade every year during the 24th of July around the neighborhood in Tooele. We woke up the saturday before and ran over to walmart to fix mayley's bike to ride in the parade. Right we May went to ride her bike the chain fell off so she ended up riding her scooter which she is really good at too! We happened to catch up with our ward which was perfect timing. My favorite part of the parade is that Mayley kept following the float in front of us forever and didn't realize that we had stopped. I had to go chase her down!

After the Parade we went over to a park and played some fun games! Hogan found some grass to chew on.
Hunter fished for a dinosaur.

Their favorite thing was the obstacle course.

Bry picked out a new camera a couple days ago! He LOVES photography. This is our favorite of May and Bubs!

We love birthdays at our house!! Hunter turned 4 last week! He is such a fun little man! He makes us laugh a ton! He loves dump trucks, construction trucks and anything that pulls a trailer! He is laughing in this pic below because Dad gave him a little Bart Simpson figurine to be funny!

I always take them out for lunch for their bday so we went to their favorite place in Tooele Co. Del Taco! They have a way fun play place. The kids love the nachos!!
Hunter couldn't wait until his party that night...all day he just kept asking when his birthday party was going to be and when dad was coming home from work!??!
We had a fun game with pretend "rocks" or "boulders". The kids had to have a relay race and pick up a "rock" and put it back in the bucket. They had fun playing and running around. The "rocks' were wrapped up newspaper in tape!

I let Hunter pick out some trucks at Cal-Ranch to put on top of his cake! It was fun to make!

Hunter has tons of girl buddies that he hangs out with too!

Hunter even got fireworks for his bday!! We had fun lighting them off with all of the grandmas and grandpas later that night!! He had a fun birthday :) We are grateful for "The BUBS" and his gentle, loving, CRAZY, heart. He has so much energy but is theeee kindest, most gentle giver ever!! He adds so much to our fun family!

Cherry Hill

We took the kids to Kaysville this last saturday. Cherry Hill is a Water park. There are only 3 slides and more just water to play in. THe kids had fun!This was their favorite little mini slide to go down!

They have a fun pirate boat to go on!
Hunter seriously took the wheel and steered this thing forever!! He loved it!
Hogan was tired of being in the sun so I took him and put him to sleep while Bry took the kids on
the lazy river! May had a blast to bobbing along in the water. Hunter was all about sitting on Dad's Lap and resting on the tube!

Tractor Ridin!

There is a cute couple in our ward that has family that own a farm down the street from us!! They used to be Hunter's nursery leaders and Hunter loved them! We called them up and asked if they would take him and may for a tractor Ride. He was in Heaven!!

They got to feed the horses special treats!
We got eggs from the chickens too! They lay green and brown ones!! We learned that chickens will eat the eggs shell yolk (the WHOLE thing) if you drop it on the ground. Like hunter accidentally did. They even eat cherry pits and anything you feed them pretty much. They even have their own cows that they raise and use for beef after a while.
The kids were tired when he got home and Hunter laid on the pillow next to Hogi and drank their milk together :)

Super awesome tractor ride :) They even showed him the hay loader that makes the bails of hay! I didn't get a pic of it though! Duh! Bubs thought that was awesome too!

4th of July Day!

Jordanelle 4th of July!!

The weekend before 4th of July we were passing through Heber and Midway. We never get to go see Bry's grandparents graves. Grandma Helen and Grandpa Call are buried in Heber.

Grandma and Grandpa Gertsch are buried in Midway. Its seriously SOOO Beautiful up there. I love to visit there! It's wonderful feeling up there.

We met the call family up at Jordanelle Resivore. The Calls got a fun trampoline for the water. The kids had a blast hanging out on it.
Grandpa and Grandma had fun taking the kids for a ride on the wave runner!

We even pulled May and Hunter around in the tube. That was their favorite part!

Bry threw himself off of the wave runner. He hit his tailbone on the back of it. He hurt himself really bad. Not fun. He was bruised up and he had to sit on a pillow the next day at church. I went for a ride on the tubes and felt like I tried to be as adventurous as could be. We had fun around the fire and Bry cooked up some salmon. Its seriously fun to be up in the mtns and be in the warm sun!! :)

The day I took the kids on a bike ride: It started off getting down the bike and the trailer by myself in the garage and wacking myself in the head with one or the other. Then I tried to adjust bryans bike seat by myself and couldn't figure it out so I had to walk down the street to ask my neighbor to come help me adjust it. Once he helped me we were ready to go. We started going down 900 west and half way down mayleys bike chain fell off. I couldn't get it back on and by this time I was just frustrated cause she had a flat too. I just prayed that someone would come by and help. Out of the corner of my eye I see our home teacher passing by. He stopped and backed up. He took mayleys bike and put it in the back of his truck! His buddy that was with him fixed it and later on in the day dropped it off ready to go!!

I Now I had to pull all three kids in the bike trailer!
We went and saw our favorite horses (bobby and Hairy) we fed them some lettuce leaves and then we rode our bike down to the elementary school lunch. On the way back there is a pretty tough hill to ride up. I was dying....then I hear in the back of the bike trailer "You can DO IT mommy I know you can!!" Yep thats my little Hunter cheering me on!! Hes the best encourager I know! That made my day right there! :)

First Family Campout!

Friday July 17th We packed up the van and drove up to Davenport Canyon above Grantsville to go on our family camping outing! We were going to campout by the big cowpies but I couldn't keep stomach from getting queesy! it was pretty nasty so we decided to try out another spot. Almost every spot was taken! We found a little cubby just for ourselves! It was perfect!

We went on a mini Hike! The view was incredible and beautiful when we got to a point to see everything out around us. off to the left is the Great Salt Lake.

May told us the other night after finding out that our really good friend is pregnant said. I hope they have a boy so that my friend Hailey will stop loving Hogan so much!!

We got a bounce house waterslide for a really good deal. We busted it out tonight. We were looking at the picture on the instruction manual and Hunter said "Do we have to wait in line?!"
Thats usually the case when there is a bounce house around!

The kids love to watch Brick Heck on the abc show on wednesday nights called "The Middle"

May says her favorite thing to do is go to the beach. She took bry's old penny bank and said she is saving up her money to go to Hawaii!

Tonight when I was putting Hunter to bed he said "When am I going to grow up and be like Dad?!" that just makes my heart melt!!

The kids think the coolest thing to do right now is go to the elementary school lunch for free. They love taking their ticket and putting it in the bucket and getting the Strawberry milk!

Our poor little Hogie is getting his 2 bottom teeth in but the hard part is watching him have a really high fever. He has had the worst running nose and he is super lethargic. Oh I just cuddle him and have been taking care of the little guy lots :)

Stitches Please?!?!

Memorial Day, we went up to the Settlement Canyon Reservior to check out how high the water was. It was almost overflowing. Well, not long being there the kids were throwing rocks into the water. Hunter wound up and let a baseball sized rock fly and let go of it too soon and whacked his daddy right in the side of the eye. He was bleeding really bad and we took him to the hosptial to get two stitches in his deep cut. Needless to say, Hunter cried and felt really bad that it happened.

The next day my favorite thing Hunter said was, "How is the stitches going dad?"
He had to get a tetnus shot too and more allergy shots this week. NOT FUN for bry at all. It's been a hard week.

Grandma and Grandpa Donald Visit!!

My grandparents adore our kids!! We don't get to see them that often. Growing up we always had fun doing stuff with Grandma and Grandpa McDonald. We get packages in the mail, we get 2 dollar bills on most holidays, homemade ornaments at Christmas time and beautiful quilts made by grandma for everytime a baby comes into our family!

So when we got to see them a couple weeks ago we got to go to a bounce house place and of course MCDONALDS!!
My cousin Josh and his cute wife Shelbie live down in Provo so they came up to lehi and hung out with us!! Shelbie and Josh LOVE the kids too!! They got in the bounce houses and jumped around like kids themselves!

I choked up a few tears as we watched on Sat night Mayley's preschool graduation. Where has the last 5 years gone!??! It's gone by way too fast. Who knew that this is where I would be now in my life?!?! I LOVE every MOMENT of it too! even the Bad and Hard times. It makes me stronger and Mayley is an amazing little spirit and girlie!! They sang fun songs at the graduation.

May had a solo part and sang "There was a tiny turtle, his name was tiny tim, we put him in the bathtub to see if he could swim. He drank up all the water. He ate up all the soap. And when he went to bed. there was a bubble in his throat....HICCUP!!

My sweet friends all met a Carls Jr. earlier that day for lunch and took me out. It was fun to see one of my friends that used to live in our tooele ward and moved back out to Stansbury! The kids had a blast with their friends in the playplace. The best (not really but its funny) was when I held hogan up and pee was dripping out of his diaper onto the floor. I was mortified. I guess thats what happens when you have boys. I went to go change him and his diaper was seriously dry! soooooo weird. My sweet friend helped me clean it up! Thanks Marissa. She reassured me that her baby boy has had the same problem! To top off the night when we got home from Salt Lake. Hunter had a MAJOR accident outside (thank goodness it was good weather) lets just say he had it all over him and we literally had to HOSE him down! we were laughing our heads off! It was such a fun bday! My wooba got me the Pres. Monson biography. I got moola and a cute skirt from the calls, and my kids got me, YES, a WHOOPIE Cushion. Blame that one on the hubby but i'm glad my fam makes me laugh and that everyone is so awesome! :)

I stink at blogging but these pretty tulips in this pic probably smell way better than my blogging! haha! We got to go to the gateway a couple weeks ago and eat at a yummy steakhouse restaurant called "FLEMMINGS" The food was seriousy amazing. I devoured everything. The flavors were amazing. We ate a ton of bread before they brought out our meal. They had yummy spreads to go on the bread like....roasted red pepper and a bleu cheese spread. I got a filet mignon and bry got a bbq salmon thing. I even tried a little bit of the salmon. I still don't like fish! My gut never will like it!

We got yummy mac n cheese and these amazing cheesy potatoes to share too. I loved everything about the food that night and spending time with my awesome husband. This isn't the best pic of us but we dressed up for the occassion!

We went shopping at Old Navy and Target that night too!! wooooooooo! Exciting stuff!! :)

Waiting for the happy couple to come out of the Salt Lake Temple...May was in Heaven holding the flowers. Everyone looked so beautiful that day! Bryan's little sis Hayley got married the same day as our anniversary! I think its pretty fun that we get to share anniversaries. I felt like in a way I got to relive mine in a way! The sealing was seriously amazing and I was so grateful to be there for it! I'm so happy to have Hayley as a sister and We love Joe! I found an ad in the tooele transcript bulliten newspaper that said "FREE ZIPLINE" at Miller Motorsports Park. This last weekend they had a big race at the park. I called the place up and they said it was FREE to go on friday! So i called up my friends and we went. It was BITTER COLD! We got to see lots of fun cars getting worked on!

It was so cold that we found an empty suite to go watch the races from inside. The only ones we got to see were the porsches race.

Then it just turned into a blizzard and we had to run out into it and they stopped the races. My hands were frozen and I could barley feel them by the time we got back into the van!!

Needless to say we didn't get to do the zipline but I'm totally going to go do it another time with Bry! It was still fun with all that we did get to do!

My little man Shovels the snow.... It seriously makes him so happy with his mini shovel he got for christmas! He is in Heaven!

He even got his dump truck out to fill it up with the snow.

I put Hogan in my sweatshirt with me while I was outside taking pics of the bubs in the snow! My dad did this to me when I was a little girl too! Too bad hogi's face is funny...Oh well! It was fun to watch my little man have fun in the snow!

March 14 is PIE day! little Did I know this until that night I made a pie because I heard my piano student was making one that night and I was craving a yummy cookie pie recipe Our great friends John and Noriko and their boys came over to eat it up with us because I didn't want to eat it all by myself. How fun is this?!? I love my baby boy!!! This is like the coolest spoon ever, its rubbery so he can chew on it. Well it landed on his face one day and he didn't know how to get it off! TOTALLY AWESOME PIC!

St. Patty's day May had fun at preschool. She got to find gold coins that the leprechans hid. She got a fun hat green sparkly hat and played fun games with a parachute!

We always eat Green Eggs and Ham and read the Dr. Seuss story on St. Patricks day.

I love having holidays to celebrate and how excited the kids get to celebrate them!

The funniest thing that happened on st patty's day was that Bryan put green food coloring in the toilet and told them that a leprechan peed in the toilet. They laughed themselves silly over it! It was so hilarious! one of those moments we won't forget.

We did funny tricks on Bry for april fools. I'm not very good at playing tricks because I don't like to lie or do mean things to people...but I knew the kids would have fun with it. We put tennis balls on top of the garage door so when he walked in they would fall on his head. He was too quick to jump back and missed his head. We tied all of his socks together in his drawer so when he pulled them out they were all one big sock! And we also stuck TP in the bottom of his shoes so when he put them on he wouldn't be able to get them on all the way. The kids had a blast doing all the funny things even though Bry tried to act like he was surprised for all of them!

They love to play tent and today they had fun stuffing all of their stuffed animals in the sides and called them "groupers" We have a ton of stuffed animals. Saturday in between conference the kids and bry went to the dump and got 4 loads of wood chips! and one big load of mulch for our front flower bed. Bry got to take big signs from his work that are made out of vinyl. The ones that they use to put on the billboards. They are super huge!

the bubs was in Heaven helping his dad. He works as hard as his dad! He loved being king of the wood chips!

The wood chips were put in the backyard to finish off the empty space that was filled with rocks and weeds. Looks tons better :)

What a fun saturday! The kids had so much fun helping Bryan!I'm thankful for conference and the spirit that testifies the truth unto us! We are super blessed. I love hearing abt new temples being built. I loved Elder Eyrings talk, Elder Bednar, Elder Holland, and Elder Oaks' Talks. Those are the talks that meant the most to me :)

Our Hoagers is getting old enough to start downin' his yummy rice cereal! It's always fun to see the new little steps of life a baby takes! I love watching my babies grow up. we went sledding with the kids because a ton of snow dumped on us. A couple weekends ago. Hogan got dressed up for it but didn't last very long in the cold.
Bubs crashed and had a good white out!!

Boy Toys!

At the age of 3 1/2 my little bubs loves his GEOTRAX! Yes the funnest trains you can possiblily play with! Anytime friends come over its the first thing they want to play with! We are teaching Hogan the ways! Bubs makes and creates his own tracks and always gets so excited to show us EVERY time he makes a new one!!

Grandma Lynda gave him this little dog when he got his staples and his fractured arm. He decided that he needed to give his doggie a ride on the train the other day! Too funny the things he comes up with! I got a kick out of it!

Free Zoo Day!

We went up to the Zoo the last wednesday in Feb. with some friends. During the winter months its FREE!! We got to see a baby elephant and a baby monkey! The weather was amazing!! Ya know how everyone has funny phrases or stories their kids tell them. Here are some recent ones from our kiddos that made us laugh!

We like to sing a song just to be funny that goes like this: "Chinese, Japanese are so funny this is how you count your money....Mayley started counting like this, Uno, dos, tres, quatro, cinco, seis!!! haha how funny is that?! LOL!

Hunter told me today that a daddy giraffe was going to have a baby because he had a tail and that the baby was going to hatch! What!?! Yeah kinda funny one!

Mayley was telling grandma the other day that she thinks that Hogan gets bored drinking milk all the time.

Bubs told me the other day when the sun was shining that "It's gonna be summer and the snow is gonna suck up soon!"

He also told us once that after we saw some kids being crazy and jumping on top of a roof of a shed he said, That makes Jesus Sad.

Valentines was super crazy and fun this year! I made a little treasure hunt for the kids when they woke up. May noticed it right away and couldn't wait to wake up Hunter!! They were so excited to get our love notes and candy from Grandma lynda! We ran to macey's in the morning and grabbed princess valentines for May's preschool party. Our present to the kids were Pillow Pets. You would've thought they were going to disneyland. They were jumping up and down and having a hay day with those things. We made heart shaped sugar cookies for the treats to give to everyone. We had a strawberry smoothie for breakfast. Super yummy stuff. Bubs and I snuck over to Wendy's and had lunch. I splurged and got their new asiago chicken sandwich! Definently yummy and worth it! I had to teach piano and my student brought the kids a valentine. Bubs was nice and said Thanks to Todd! That night we took Valentines to our friends. The best is we took one to our cute elderly neighbor across the street. Bubs was excited to give one to "Effo" (really it's Ethel). She is such a sweet lady and always brings over treats for the kids. What a fun day!!

Best trip ever! we even got in a 2 hour nap. We met amazing people EVERYWHERE. It was like living in zion. We didn't meet one grouchy or mean person. Except, a lady that got mad after I told her that I didn't want to give her my credit card to save money on excursions. She wouldn't even give me a map to Lahaina! We had to laugh! I love Hawaii I could go there every year and be in Heaven!

The day we left we had to go in the morning and play on the beach some more. Bry had to get in one last snorkeling adventure. The water was so amazingly warm! Bry is very artistic!!

Responsibility Train FHE!

I've been AWFUL at blogging. I love how good my sister in laws are at blogging and wish I had more time to take to write down my thoughts and express how I feel as a mom. So here I go.....without interupption!

Mayley making what her teddy bears would look like at preschool!

Mayley is doing FABULOUS in preschool and she gets so excited to come home every day and tell me what she got to do and her snack for the day. We take a little girl Emmy to preschool everyday. My favorite thing she says to me is "Brianne, we just passed the Oh! McDonald's!" ya know like the song Oh McDonald had a farm! she is a doll! This month they got to eat pancakes in preschool and make things about winter time. They had bring your favorite teddy bear day and they got to make pictures with shaving creme!! She is such a smartie pants.

May loved this pretend little stove they got to make with the frying pan with eggs, bacon, and pancakes!

We got a 6 month membership to the Discovery Gateway museum. So my friend and I take our kids there once in awhile. We had to check out the target 75% off sale for christmas toys but it was pretty much wiped out. Then we took the kids by ourselves to Sizzler. My favorite quote of the night by Noriko was "THIS IS FINE DINING!" inside joke. The cutest man came up to us and with this happy rosey cheeked face said "Thanks for being mothers. We need to have more like you two" or something like that. What a sweet old man! I didn't take any pics of that day. Bry and john got together and played some Xbox while we were out. Holy cow it was scary driving home that night cause it was a blizzard and I'm grateful that my prayers kept us safe.

My cousin Drew from Vegas just left for the MTC on his mission this last week. I always get jealous a little bit and wish I could be a full time missionary again. He will love his mission. He is serving in the Colorado Denver mission. I got to go down and hang out and have a yummy dinner with my fam. Shelby, my cousins Josh's wife, couldn't get enough of holding Hogan. Oh it was pretty late when we went to bed that night....I heard a thump going down the stairs and Bubs ran back up with a bloody nose. whoa we haven't had good luck with getting hurt at grandma and papa's house latley with bubs. YIKES!

We had fun on Saturday and emptied out a ton of storage boxes of baby clothes and toys. Bubs found some new but old jammies. I went to sweet pea (consignment store) and got may some new fun pants! She loves them! yay for her wearing pants cause she only wears leggins! Fun things that came to Tooele were a CAFE RIO and opening up in a couple months will be a Joann Craft store!! Wahoo! So we went to Cafe rio for dinner. The kids LOVED IT!

We also celebrated Bry's dads bday! We love him and all the amazing things he does. He is such a fun grandpa and he makes yummy food. May isn't such a fan of being in pics latley!

We had a GNO with my friends with the other night for my friend Heidi's bday! Oh how I love my friends in my ward. They are amazing girlies!! I made a really cute valentine craft. Have to blog that one later.....everything is going super great right now!!! Love my life!

We were eating my moms amazing yummy date cake when all of a sudden my nephew Caden comes running upstairs to tell us that Hunter is hurt and bleeding. My dad is the first one to get him and brings him up stairs and I see blood everywhere coming out of the back of his head. I want to hold him and take care of him. Bryan and my dad take him to the sink and put a washcloth over his head and I remember seeing a big gauge in his head. I loose it and my mom takes me away into their room. I hate more than anything seeing my kids get hurt. I ask if we can say a prayer with May, Caden and Miles. My mom says a sweet and sincere prayer that he will be ok. Bry comes in the room to tell us that they are taking him to the ER. All of the kids come in and we watch "Despicable Me" (which is seriously a FUNNY show) waiting to hear back about how Hunter is doing. About an hour and a half bry calls to say that he got 6 STAPLES in his head. Hunter was so brave and strong. He got to take home a stuffed animal Zebra. He named him Spoony!?! Yeah don't know where that name came from?!?! Anyway, how did all of this happen?! he was wrestling downstairs with his cousins and somehow he fell and hit his head on the coffee table. It made me think of a lot of things when all of this happened. It's really the first time any of our kids have gotten hurt really bad. It made me appreciate and love my kids even more. It made me think of christmas and how Mary watched her son Jesus Christ dying on the cross and the pain she must have felt to see him suffereing the sins of the world. I'm grateful for the spirit and the priesthood and for everything that happened to help me see life in a new perspective after Hunter's accident. here is the pic of his staples and him at the hospital.

Preschool fun with Santa! Worth Reading!

This is May's cute preschool class! She has made so many fun friends in her class. The last day of preschool before the winter break they got to wear their pjs to class and go see santa. Santa gave them TONS of treats! Her preschool teacher is so much fuN!

Christmas Day we opened a present that May made for us in preschool. It was more her teacher but it was a little recipe book. Inside this is what her teacher wrote to the parents: "I asked each of the kids their favorite recipes and how to make them and these are the resonses that I got"

So this is what May told her teacher

her recipe is:

VANILLA CAKE

3 eggs

1 C. sugar

1 C. oil

2 C. flour

4 chocolate chips

5 milk

Pat the dough until it looks runny. Make it go into a pan that dosen't stick. First it is wet then it cooks up not wet. Cook for 6 minutes on 17 degrees or on hot. Then put frosting on it.

BROWN BROWNIES

you need tape and wrappers

Put into bowl and stir everything. It goes super fast and one of our stirrere things broke. Put lots of cocoa puffs in, like the whole thing of them. Stir a bunch more and put in the oven. Cook inside the oven, not the outside. Super, really burning hot degrees. cook for a whole bunch of days maybe 7 or more. Cook til time to get them out then cut them up and wrap them with wrappers and tape.

Christmas Eve Party!

We spent Christmas eve with the CALL family. We decorated a piece of paper of whatever we wanted a while back ago and then had them sent off to be made into plates. That was one of the fun presents we all got.
For the Grandma Toy Box. Hunter was stoked!

May loved all of the new stuff she got!

We dress up and read and listen to the Nativity Story in Luke 2 and then in 3 Nephi when the savior is born and the people in the america's know of his birth! I play the piano and we sing the christmas hymns too!

We did gag gifts or dollar store presents for white elephants this year. We gave Bry's mom Bart Simpson. Kyle had fun playing with him! Speaking of Kyle....my favorite part of watching him that night was waving his arms around when Steve would turn on the Iowa Hawkeye's fight song. CLASSIC!

Bry is a super fun uncle and dad and everyone loves playing with him at grandma and grandpas house!

Eating papa john's pizza by candlelight at dinner for christmas eve. This is always a fun tradition the calls do!

We got to go bowling and have Papa Murphy's pizza for my dad's bday this year! My sister was in town so it made it a lot more exciting!

our friends Heather and Rob have the funnest christmas party that we go to. They call it the UGLY SWEATER PARTY! We just chow down on delicious food and play super crazy and fun games. The first game was christmas carol pictionary. You had to sing the song to guess the christmas carol that the person was drawing! My favorite quote of the night was how Dave told Bryan that he didn't have to wear a sweater because he has a built in one!! hahahaha!! We also watched a video of Dave hiding in the garage and Rachel finding a dead mouse on her steps into her house. ahhhhh! poor Rachel! We guessed Bry was drawing "the drummer boy" song. Bry wore his boss' U of U sweatshirt for his UGLY sweater!

My cute hubby and hogan dressed the same! I Had to get a picture of them being matchy matchy! We are all so happy that the BUBS finally is potty trained. His reward was a NEW BIKE for finally keeping his pants dry both day and night. He's awesome. He calls his bike "THE MOTORCYCLE BIKE!"

We love to build snowmen at our house!! Bry and the kids made 5 all in one day! Bry said the snow was perfect for building the snowmen. Then at 4:00 in the morning when he was up with the baby he looked outside to see that a bunch of HOOLIGANS had came and wrecked all of them. May and Bubs had fun telling the story to everyone and telling them that a bunch of Hooligans smashed our snowmen!

May woke up the other morning and held Hogan while I got breakfast ready. She loves to hold her baby bro! We figured out that Hogan likes to give us kisses on the cheek. He will suck on our cheeks! We all laughed and thought it was so fun!

He has lots of hair! It's seriously beautifu!

Day 11

Lets start with DAY 1: November 8th
6:00 AM- I call labor and delivery and check to see what time to come in for my induction. Nurse said "7:15-7:30". I was super happy that we didn't have to wait.
6:15 Am- got into the shower and start feeling major contractions
6:45 AM- in the car driving to Salt Lake having contractions every 4 to 5 minutes apart.
7:00 AM- call the hosptial to tell them that I don't need an induction but I'm in actual labor
7:35- arrive at hosptial, bry drives to the front doors and drives me into labor and delivery in a wheelchair.

The rest is history when it comes to looking at the clock. I was too anxious and ready to have Hogan when we got to the hospital. I had to sign a bunch of papers before they even admitted me. By the time they checked me I was dialated to an 8. I was tired of being in pain so I finally just asked for the epidural. I don't deal with pain very well anyway. They hooked me up to the IV before that and of course that's yucky. Epidural was pretty crazy this time. I had to sit up and hunch over and hold on to Bry's shoulders with my feet dangling off the bed. I'm feeling weird sensations and it is pretty uncomfortable but I knew after I got it done that it would be so much more relaxing. lets just say that they hit a nerve in my right leg twice and it sent a jolt through my leg and was pretty traumatizing for me. Bry had to sit down and take a sip of juice and at the same moment all of this is going on they are shooting penicillian through my IV because I was Strep B positive. yeah it was this CRAZY BURNING sensation. I pretty much lost it and was super emotional those couple minutes.

We waited for about 30 minutes for my Dr. to come back and I was ready to push and Hogan came at 10:50 AM. I was one happy mom to see my baby come out perfect and!
He weighed 7 lbs exactly! He is a shorty and only measured 18 inches.

My mom had a sleepover the night before and took care of the kids and brough them up to the hospital to see Hogan. The kids were fun to watch when Hogan first came into the room. they just looked at him in amazement! Bry's mom brought me a yummy sandwich from East Coast Subs. The funny thing was....I had no appetite in the Hosptial. I loved drinking this sprite and juice drink the nurses made up for me.

I got to be wheeled into the nursery since my epidural hadn't worn off yet and watch Hogan get his first little bath! I didn't get to with May or Bubs so I was super excited to watch. Both grandmas, May, and Bubs got to look in through the window and watch too.

It was fun to be in the hospital with my hubby. We had lots of time to cuddle and be alone together to talk, eat, walk, and watch some tv together. I have the best hubby in the world!

They had to put an IV in Hogan the first day since I was strep B positive just to make sure that if they did have to pump medicine into him it would be easier to do. It can make babies super sick.

Bry slept in the hosptial with me that night! He's the best!

Bry took the kids shopping that afternoon to Ross.

Tuesday Brys mom came to visit in the afternoon, She brought me a shake and flowers. we had lots of visitors today. My friends Christina and Lou came, my parents (dad was down in st. george on buisness trip the day before), and Bry's roommate/best buddy from BYUI, Ryan and Rebecca Casper and their little boy Carson.

Wednesday I was alone in the hosptial for most of the morning so I walked down to see Hogan in the Nursery. I had an emotional morning because I knew he was going to be circumcized. I was glad that the pediatrician who was Mayley's Pediatrican once upon a time came in and talked to me and calmed my nerves about the whole process. Hogan was a CHAMP! It is hard thing for me to watch or know that my children are going to be in pain.

I'm so happy my baby is here. My hubby has been amazing and all I have to say is I'm truly grateful for my family that surrounds me!! They have been wonderful through everything. I love them so much :)

Monday Nov 1st I woke up early and went to my dr. appt to find out a little disappointment. I wouldn't be induced for another week. I now had been dialated to 4 1/2 for 3 weeks now. I cried when i left and called my friend to go to the Discovery Gateway with the Kids and I. It turned out to be a good day. We got to go to Red Robin for dinner! YUM!

Tuesday took May to preschool and the bubs and I went to the bookstore and he played with a little table top train for like 45 minutes while I browsed and looked at fun books! My friend took the kids while I took a nap for an hour today. Couldn't sleep because I thought I was going into labor so I took a bath at 1:30 in the morning and fell asleep around 3:30 am.

Wednesday: Went to the park with friends. it was the most beautiful day ever!

Thursday: Took May to preschool and toughed myself up and went shopping at walmart with the kids. The kids were fabulous and May said she was my shopping helper. She said in her prayers for dinner that she was thankful that she could listen to mommy.

Friday: My wonderful hubby stayed home. I slept in...and took a nap. Bry took the kids to home depot and he rearranged the garage and put shelves in the kids' new closet. We took them swimming last night. Friday night ritual is going to the swimming pool. Our kids are amazing! They have no fear of the water. I video taped them doing crazy things and they make me super happy!

Saturday: grandma lynda and Grandpa call came out. The guys painted the baby's room and fixed the cement cracking on the front steps & watched the BYU game and other football games. Grandma took the kids to see Bobby and Hairy (our fav. horses in tooele). They painted a fun Thanksgiving Mural on the back window too! We ate yummy burgers from American Burgers and I worked on my sewing skills to finish the baby car seat canopy.

Carnival

May's Preschool had a Halloween Carnival. Bubs got to come too! I was so proud of may because she raised her hand first to get her face painted out of everyone in the class. If you can't tell she got cute pumpkins on her cheek. They played so many fun games. Like Pin the tail on the the donkey, and lots of bean bag games. They got a piece of candy or a prize at the end of each little game!

I love all the traditions and fun things that come along when its a Holiday! I LOVED Halloween this year! The kids picked out what they were going to carve on their own pumpkins and its really the first year they ever picked out the "GUTS" from the pumpkins and thought it was so fun and gross at the same time.

Bubs picked to have a "H" on his and may picked a cute smiley face for hers!

Halloween lunch I made Mac N Cheese goblins with green veggies for the feet! It was actually really good!

Every year on Halloween they have Trick or treating down town in Tooele. It was raining and windy but then it let up and wasn't so bad. We ran over to the trunk or treat at our church and stayed for like 10 min but the kids were freezing cold and everyone was already leaving to go home.

We got to bust out the crib and moved the kids into the other room! They love their new room! We might have to change the backyardigans mattress. That was sooooo like 2 1/2 years ago!

YES! I'm STILL working on the little man's car seat cover. I am making a new turtle applique cause I didn't like my other one cause it didn't match very well. I will finish this thing! I need lots of motivation cause I know he's coming any time! I got my awesome recliner and the little baby bed that Bry slept in when he was a baby too!

We got the car seat cleaned and ready! May is having fun putting her babies in their now!

I love our van!!! I'm so glad that we got answers to our prayers and got such an AMAZING deal on it and I even got an 8 seater just like I wanted! The kids are having a blast driving around in it too. They are so good at getting in and its not such a fight to actually get them in the car now! Phew! Can't wait for this baby to come!!

My awesome friend gave me this idea for a fun halloween wreath. I don't have that many halloween decorations so I thought I would keep myself busy while being SUPER prego and make this. I got EVERYTHING at the dollar store. except the 96 cent black paint at walmart. I got a plain wicker wreath, tied all the way around the wreath white tulle and spray painted it black. A green boa, a cute little sign and some little skeletons to stick around the wreath too. Glue gunned everything on and WALLAH!

May wanted her pic taken before preschool today. Halloween is a fun holiday...I only like the cutesy stuff to tell you the truth but I was so proud of myself for ACTUALLY doing my wreath.

Benson Grist Mill

Every year we have the fun tradition to go to the Benson Grist Mill Pumpkin Walk with our friends. Its seriously FUN and FREE! I remember going when May was only 18 months old and Bubs was only 2 months old. They are too big now. But it's so much fun to watch them run and play and enjoy all the games they can REALLY do now. May decorated her cookie all by herself!

They thought this spider man pumpkin was SO COOL!

They have a fun hay maze the kids can go in and get lost in! We got to hang out with our friends Hannah, Hailey, and Jenna!

Logan Trip!

I couldn't believe it when Bry told me that he was taking me to the USU vs. BYU football game in Logan a couple weeks ago. Oh my heart loves Logan!! 3 years of my life was spent there where I learned and grew and loved my life! The people, school, institute, AMAZING!! of course some of the hardest moments of my life were in Logan too. Anyway, I am a big BYU fan now that I married one. So we got this pic of them warming up. (didn't help much though with their game :(. We were devastated that that BYU lost the worst game EVER. But happy that the Aggies FINALLY got a Win! The fans were out of control! After the game I had Bry walk me to the "A" We parked in the institute parking lot. We smooched on the A and we can say we are kind of True Aggies now. Even though we didn't kiss at midnight on a full moon.

Then we went and got Aggie Icecream. Yummy Carmel Cashew and cookie Dough!

Bry got a yummy waffle cone with his favorite icecream Mint Chocolate Chip.

We went and took a walk around the temple. Along with other BYU fans. We tried taking some fun pics.

Saturday I didn't take any pics but we watched conference in our hotel room. We drove out to Richmond to the Pepperidge farm store. We got a bag of milano cookies and then we ate at Bluebird Restaurant for lunch. It was super relaxing and fun to relive some fun memories! My hubby is the best :)

Primary program funny stuff!

May looked so pretty for her very first primary program appearance. She's getting too big. She loves this dress cause she got it from her cousins abbie and anna.

The bubs wearing a white shirt and tie for the first time ever. EVERY sunday is quite the battle to get this kid dressed for church.

May was seriously so funny watching her up on the stand today. She was eating her hair, throwing her hands back in the air, her little friend hailey kept cupping her mouth so she wouldn't talk. She sang loud into the microphone. She memorized her part "I follow Jesus when I say my prayers" She is quite the commical girl. I think she gets it from her Dad.

Our cute friend asked Bryan if he was really 29 for this bday this year? Yep he will stay 29 forever now. the kids were soooo excited to give DAD their present. Zesta crackers and monkey Chow (barrel of monkey's game). Zestas are Bry's favorite all time crackers. Hunter couldn't keep his presents a secret for very long but we tried to keep it on the down low. Our close friends bday was the day after so we celebrated their birthdays together with lots of cake and icecream and playing the game KUBB.

Our awesome home teacher. He's the best. Nate graduated from MHS just like us. We love the Loroccos!

Funniest night with a fun friend of mine. I went with her to the Brad Paisley Concert for her birthday! When we got to Usana Ampitheater the K bull stand was throwing out t shirts to the small crowd gathered around. we were standing towards the back and the guy with the mic threw one out and I caught it. then he told us not to be shy and he threw another random shirt out into the crowd and Noriko totally caught it! It was fun to wear our shirts during the concert. The night was beautiful! Perfect weather....but this is only the beginning!!
we got there really early and we had 2 hours before the concert started so we walked back to the car to go and get some dinner. When we went back out to the car IT HAD A FLAT. Not cool. So we found a parking worker guy chillin on his four wheeler and we asked him to help us. He was super nice and we felt so grateful for that blessing he was there to help us. He told us that the spare tire was a little low and to go put some air in it. After driving around for a little bit trying to find ANY place that had AIR... we found one. Then we weren't sure how much AIR to put in the tire. So we just guessed and we had enough to fill up the other tire while the air was still pumping out. We were laughing our guts out just from all the craziness so far from our night. We ate these yummy sandwiches at this little grill place called Gustavos. Yeah totally yummy place. I would eat there again!

Waitin for the concert to start. Little did we know who was going to sitting next to us....a crazy drunk girl dancing around with beer in her hand all night long. Everyone around us was laughing she was sooooo crazy!! The girls next to us kept saying "Is she for reals?!" yeah that's classic. I was sooooo afraid Noriko was going to have beer showered on her the whole night. the lady in front of us did though. Oh man!!

Good ole Darius Rucker opened the concert. We were stoked cause he played some Hootie songs!

Brad Paisley walked up and sat and sang a bunch of songs only a couple rows in front of us. He is one amazing music artist!

The end of the night we got lost trying to find the car... where the heck did we park it?! LOL! Yeah good times! LOVED THE CONCERT!

I didn't think I would do this again because it was so crazy last year but I needed to get out of Tooele!! I invited my friends to come down to Thanksgiving Point last Tues! We all have kids about the same age so the kids said their best part of the day was playing with their friends. We got through the dinosaur museum without loosing any kids! The kids had a blast. I was excited to see the new part they added to the museum about lights! Loved it!

We told them all to hold hands so they wouldn't get lost!! so dang cute!

One of the biggest reasons I wanted to go to Thanksgiving point was to see the Children's Garden. I saw that my sis. in law had gone the week before and never in my life had I gone there yet so now it was perfect timing since it was only 2 bucks to go! My mom wanted to come with us since she lives close! So she showed us where the amazing waterfalls were at. The kids couldn't get enough of running through on the green hills and running down to see the waterfalls. It was hard to get them to leave! I love this pic with me and my kids! FYI: They were wearing their swimsuits!

Yay our basement is fully carpeted! The kids had a blast playing in their new basement all day!!

I'm totally in love with having a new basement and that Bryan and I worked so hard to finally get it done!! It was a huge accomplishment in our book!

Toy Mantasaurous?!

Today my favorite thing that May said was:
We played with a TOY MANTASAUROUS!!
Hunter says: "No May! It's called a Praying Mantis. He stops and prays and then he goes again." ... followed by hilarious laughing!!
Hunter says: We found a praying mantis at the park and then in our backyard!! COOL!

This only happens when Breanne E. is around because she picks them up and holds them and the kids think it's the coolest thing ever!! What a funny day. I love that my kids remember the smallest things when its the end of the day and time for bed. It made my day :)

The Miracle of the Seagulls!

May's first talk in primary. We have so many kids in primary that they meet in the chapel for opening exercises. May volunteered last week to give the TALK in primary. I was so surprised! We had to speak on Miracles. So this is what we came up for her to say:

I'm going to tell the story of the Miracle of the Seagulls.When the Pioneers came to Salt Lake.

They planted a garden so they could have foot to eat.

There were lots of crickets that came and ate up lots of their food.

The pioneers prayed and fasted that Heavenly Father would help their garden to be saved.

Seagulls came and ate up all of the crickets and their food was saved.

They remembered to thank Heavenly Father for this Miracle.

When we have Faith Heavenly Father will show us Miracles.

The greatest miracle of all is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Then she bore her testimony!

Bry and I were so proud of her and she spoke loud and clearly so everyone could hear her! It's so fun to watch her grow!! As a parent I love teaching them simple things of the gospel!! It helps our testimonies grow as well!
